The Mudmen are extraordinary, in the most literal sense of the word. With such a unique sound and instrumentation, it's difficult to place them within any one particular genre, which happens to be one of their strong points. The Mudmen's history is full of high-energy Celtic rock sets, performing coast to coast all over North America and Europe. Recent developments spawning from successes such as their performance in Ottawa for the Queen of England No big deal…when she visited for the Canada Day Celebrations in 2010, and their work with world-famous producer Bob RockWho? on the new Hockey Night in CanadaThat’s the one with the ice and the sticks right? theme have led them to develop a more diverse repertoire of music, catering to a universal audience. This maturation has yielded many successes including a 2010 cross continental tour with Juno Award winning recording artist Johnny Reid, and headlining spots on dozens of festivals and highland games performances throughout Canada and the United States.

The Mudmen's recorded music has been featured on programs such as NBC's The Black Donneley's, and Showtime's Shameless, as well as sound tracks for several video games, WWE's Celtic Tag Team 'The Highlanders'Hahaha! Awesome…, 6 music videos in rotation on MuchMusic, Don Cherry's Rock 'Em Sock 'Em series... The list goes on.

They've shared the stage with ZZ-Top, The Guess Who, Biff Naked, Nazareth, Finger Eleven, April Wine, Avril Lavigne, John McDermot, Korn, Helix, Spirit of the WestOne of their videos is a cover of “Home For a Rest”. Really well done!, Vanilla Ice... This list goes on too.

2011 will welcome their 6th studio album, as well as several tours throughout North America. The Mudmen are both endearing and gritty, facing every day and every challenge with unparalleled determination, and true heart one would be hard-pressed to find anywhere else, in any industry.
