Thanks for coming to FarBeyond footnotes*. This is an article-based blog written to provide the entertainment as outlined in the above logo.

To enjoy this site, you need to know 4 things.

  1. Coloured Words Are Special. When a word is redLike this one, you need to scroll over it with your mouse. When a word is blue, you need to click on itWe didn't even have links in the first group of articles we wrote. I guess we were so infactuated with the footnotes. You know what they say, "love Is blind".
  2. Things Change. This site was originally started to help our clients get a better grasp of what we were all about in a funny, “do I have to keep reading?” sorta way. Since then, it’s kinda become like it’s own thing, so that was a pleasant surpriseOther pleasant surprises: Brownies where the icing is as thick as the cake part and finding $20 in your winter jacket from last year..
  3. Take Your Time. Some of these bad boys are quite long; so feel free to read them at your leisure. Whether that’s one sitting or over a couple of days. They are not your average articles. Here's a rating system to help make your life easier.

  4. Respect Is Due. Props need to be given to twoNot the ballet dress sources of inspiration for this site:

First to Malcolm Gladwell and the essays he wrote for the New YorkerForever immortalized in his 4th book ‘What The Dog Saw’. In our case, it was a piece he wrote on Enron titled “Open Secrets” from early 2007 that actually solidified that this site would happen one day. FYI – He’s a good writer.

Second to Pop Up Video for dominating music televisionHow did VH1 put out all these amazing shows and MTV pukes up ’16 & Pregnant’ and ‘Jersey Shore’? It’s like how Coke and Sprite come outta the same company I guess. during the 90’sWe’re not sure who was the first to draw the parallel between that show and this site, but we’d be remised if we didn’t acknowledge that VH1’s clever show hadn’t sunk into our brains..

Okay, so with that said, have at it… Archive is on the right and the newest piece can be found by clicking HERE.

Thanks for readingThat was an in general statement, like thanks that you read… we weren’t trying to thank you for coming here. Thanking people is way too pretentious and so last year. PS – follow us @thatlastsentencewasajoke .
